War, By Any Other Name
A fusion of traditional Indian dance/folklore with western dance and design, this one-woman dance work showcases a beautiful blend of when East meets West. This work touches on war, ancient and current, the destruction it brings, but also the unifying effect it can have across nations. Lighting toes the fine line between the two worlds, providing stylized gestures and clarity. Meanwhile, projection propels the story, being lead by Kumar, herself.
